GGS LEADS Limited ("GGS LEADS", "we", "us") operates this website to connect people looking for vehicle finance with independent, accredited brokers. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share your personal information, in line with the Privacy Act 2020.
1. Who we are
GGS LEADS is a New Zealand-based lead-generation service. We are not a lender, credit provider, or financial adviser — we pass your enquiry to an independent broker, who deals with you directly from that point on.
2. What we collect
When you use the repayment calculator, we don't collect anything — the numbers you enter stay in your browser and are never sent to us.
When you submit the call-back form, we collect only:
- Your full name
- Your phone number
- Your email address
We don't ask for ID documents, bank details, or credit information — that only happens later, directly with your broker, if you choose to proceed.
3. Why we collect it
We collect your name, phone number, and email for one purpose: so that a broker can call or email you back about vehicle finance options. We don't use it for anything else unless you separately agree to that.
4. Who we share it with
We share your details with one broker matched to your enquiry — not a list of multiple companies. We don't sell, rent, or otherwise trade your information to third parties for marketing purposes.
Some of the tools we use to run this website are provided by overseas companies (for example, our web fonts are served by Google). This may involve minor technical data, such as your IP address, being sent overseas as a normal part of loading the page. We choose providers with reasonable privacy and security standards.
5. How we protect it
We limit access to your information to the people who need it to do their job — passing your enquiry to the right broker. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect it against loss, misuse, or unauthorised access.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your details only as long as reasonably needed to connect you with a broker and confirm the referral went through — typically no longer than 12 months, unless you ask us to delete it sooner or the law requires us to keep it longer.
7. Your rights
Under the Privacy Act 2020, you can:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to correct it if it's wrong
- Ask us to delete it, where reasonably possible
- Withdraw consent for us to contact you or pass your details on, at any time
To do any of these, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable time, generally within 20 working days.
8. Cookies and tracking
This site does not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers. If that changes in future, this policy will be updated to explain what's used and why, before it's switched on.
9. Data breaches
If a privacy breach happens that could cause you serious harm, we'll notify both you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner, as required by the Privacy Act 2020.
